Madness or genius?

There is a woman who gets off at my train stop at Kentish Town almost every day who has a bear rucksack that talks to people.

The woman seems very shy and retiring but the bear has a funny high pitched voice and insists on making conversation with hapless commuters. Most of them ignore her but occasionally you can see people talking back to this rucksack. It's very funny and 'bear woman' is a topic of conversation among everyone who has seen her or been cornered by the bear.

Now she has a website - it is still under construction but it is worth a look.

She was my train this morning - the bear was telling everybody it was going to be famous.

Bearsac - The talking teddy bear

I see Bearsac and his owner/medium very often. I know this message was from a few years ago but i have just come by it. What a surprise to find it.

Bearsac's owner is called Debra, I wouldn't call her shy at all. She has Asperger's syndrome which she talks of on the website.

I overheard another passenger on the train say that she is writing a book about her traveling with bearsac.
